Usage and Billing

Use this page when you need to understand your organization's current plan, available usage, and recent activity.

This guide focuses on usage tracking and plan limits shown in the product. Invoice and payment workflows, if applicable to your organization, are handled separately.

Who can view usage

Usage information is intended for organization roles that need operational or billing visibility.

In the current product flow, usage is visible to:

  • Admin
  • Billing

What the Usage page helps you answer

Use the organization Usage page when you want to answer questions such as:

  • What plan is my organization currently on?
  • How much usage is still available in the current period?
  • Which recent activity used compute units?
  • Why did availability drop before a run finished?
  • What plan limits apply to my organization today?

What the Usage page shows

The organization Usage page summarizes:

  • the current plan
  • consumed usage
  • reserved usage
  • remaining usage
  • the current usage period
  • recent activity
  • plan limits

Key terms

Consumed

Consumed usage has already been counted against the current usage period.

Reserved

Reserved usage has been set aside for queued or in-progress work that has not finished settling yet.

This is why available usage can drop before a run completes.

Remaining

Remaining usage is what your organization can still use in the current period after consumed and reserved usage are taken into account.

Refresh period

The refresh period shows when the current usage window resets and the next period begins.

How to read the page

Plan summary

Use the plan summary to confirm:

  • the organization's current plan
  • the usage available in the current period
  • the limits that apply to your organization

Activity history

Use the activity history when you want to understand where usage came from.

It helps you review:

  • which activity ran
  • which project it belonged to
  • when it happened
  • how many units were involved
  • whether the usage is still reserved or already settled

Plan limits

Use the limits section when you want to confirm the current boundaries for your organization, such as:

  • how many users the plan supports
  • how many projects the plan supports
  • how much compute capacity is available in the current period

Common questions

Why did availability drop before a run finished?

Queued or in-progress work can reserve usage before final settlement. This can reduce the amount shown as remaining even though the work is not finished yet.

How do I check what used compute units?

Open the activity history on the Usage page and review the most recent entries. Start by checking the timestamp, project, and activity type to find the source of the change.

Where do I confirm my current plan limits?

Open the limits section of the Usage page. It shows the plan boundaries that currently apply to your organization.

What should I do if usage looks wrong?

First, check whether usage is still reserved for in-progress work. Then review the recent activity list for the period in question. If the totals still do not make sense, contact the team that manages your organization account.
